It's time to have the talk!

The money talk that is!

Join us on May 18, 2022, 5:30p-8:30p In Person at Midland Golf & Country Club

Talking about money can come with lots of emotions and confusion. That’s why we are excited to connect with Melanie Linkletter, Financial Advisor, as she helps to make sense of all those cents.

Melanie is skilled at supporting women in business and will share the questions and answers most business owners ask while also shedding light on what most business owners miss when planning for themselves and their employees.

She will share about budgeting and paying yourself first! You will learn about investments, different types of accounts, and how to protect you and your family when you are your business! She’ll even shed light on exit planning and what to know so you are prepared and ready.

No matter the status of employment or business, attending this event will leave you empowered to plan and protect your finances while preparing you for ongoing financial success.

Get to know Melanie Linkletter:

Melanie Linkletter is a Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS) and a dual licensed Financial Advisor with Edward Jones Investments. She began at Edward Jones in 2015 at the Midland office and in 2019 became the head of the Edward Jones Penetanguishene location. By the end of this year she will have also completed her  Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) designation.

Melanie focuses on serving the financial and insurance needs of investors of all ages and financial means. She has anchored her business through the pillar of treating clients as she would want to be treated, a simple idea that still makes sense in today’s complex marketplace.

Melanie’s roots in our community run deep as she is a proud Metis citizen, born and raised here, as many generations of her ancestors have been before her. She is happily married to her best friend Roger, and their only daughter, Emily, is engaged and moved out, making them empty nesters with just their cat and dog left at home.

Last but not least, Melanie is a very active volunteer and can often be found working with many local charitable organizations, including Penetang Rotary, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Terry Fox Foundation.  In their “spare time” she and Roger foster homeless dogs with Homeward Bound Rescue, and since Roger rides a motorcycle and Melanie rides a Ryker (3 wheeled motorcycle), their summer weekends are often spent at charity bike runs.

Talk about impressive! Connect more with Melanie and follow her on Facebook, LinkedIn, or visit her website

We are more than ecstatic to welcome Melanie to our meeting on May 18th at the Midland Golf & Country Club. Learning from her while connecting with other incredible women in the community will make for a powerful evening! Make sure to join us and register today!
